Tanta University is participating with a high-level delegation, headed by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, in the 35th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), currently being held at the Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 9 to 12 September 2025.

The University is taking part within the Egyptian pavilion, which includes 25 Egyptian universities, with the participation of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, alongside a large number of European universities.

Prof. Hussein stated that Tanta University’s participation in the conference focuses on several key areas aimed at enhancing international academic cooperation. Among the main objectives are signing new agreements and programs, such as dual-degree programs and student exchange opportunities that allow students to spend a full semester at partner universities.

He further emphasized the importance of international training programs for students, whether during internship years or summer breaks. He highlighted the success of past models, such as the agreement with the University of Bradford (UK), through which Tanta University hosted 90 British students over two years.

The University’s participation also seeks to maximize the utilization of its material and human resources across faculties and to support the academic and professional development of visiting students. Prof. Hussein pointed out that the university provides all necessary facilities for international students, including accommodation and transportation.

In conclusion, Prof. Hussein stressed that Tanta University possesses distinguished centers that serve as strong attractions, such as the Arabic Language Teaching Center for Non-Native Speakers, the Career Development and Guidance Center, as well as specialized expertise in medical, scientific, engineering, and environmental fields.
