Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, today attended the graduation ceremony of the 47th cohort of the Faculty of Pharmacy, along with the first graduating class of the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) program. The celebration was held at the Grand Conference Hall of the Medical Complex, in the presence of Prof. Mona Al-Asr, Dean of the Faculty, vice deans, Prof. Hany Donia, Head of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate of Gharbia, faculty members, and the graduates.
In his address, Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his deep pride in the graduates, stressing that they represent a driving force for the future of healthcare in Egypt. He urged the new pharmacists to pursue lifelong learning and continuous skills development, underscoring that the pharmacy profession requires constant renewal to keep pace with rapid scientific advancements. He further emphasized that the University is strongly committed to preparing highly qualified professionals who meet the needs of the labor market and contribute effectively to serving the community.
For her part, Prof. Mona Al-Asr extended her warm congratulations to the graduates and their families, expressing the Faculty’s joy in preparing a new generation of distinguished pharmacists. She added that the Faculty is dedicated to equipping its students with the latest knowledge and skills needed for professional excellence, urging the graduates to act as ambassadors of their University and Faculty, while upholding the highest standards of professional ethics.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of graduates, who were presented with shields and graduation certificates.
