Celebrating the University’s Golden Jubilee, Faculty of Science Holds Graduation Ceremony for the Cohorts of Prof. Abdel Salam Rashad and Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Nagy under Patronage of the Prime Minister

Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, Faculty of Science held a graduation ceremony today, Wednesday, for cohort No. 47 of 2019 named after Prof. Abdel Salam Rashad and cohort No. 48 of 2020 named after Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Nagy Salem in the context of celebrating the university’s golden jubilee under auspices of the Prime Minister.

    In the speech he delivered via videoconference, Prof. Mahmoud Zaki thanked the alumni and affirmed that Tanta University gives great interest to the quality of education and that it has gained advanced ranks in world rankings. Moreover, he congratulated the graduates wishing them more progress and success. He also thanked academic staff and assistant staff at Faculty of Science for the efforts they exert to meet the goals and achieve the mission of the Faculty and of the university; thus, increasing the competitiveness of alumni in local, regional and international labor market.

    Moreover, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, thanked the alumni and all personnel of Faculty of Science who were keen on graduating highly qualified students so that they can enter labor market. He congratulated graduates’ families who exerted great effort and are celebrating their sons’ success.

    Furthermore, Prof. Tarek Mustafa, Dean of Faculty of Science, gave a talk in which he urged the graduates on making more efforts and to develop their skills so that they can benefit themselves and their homeland, affirming that knowledge is the basis of homeland progress.
