Tanta University Council Reviews a Report on the Role of Distant Learning Management Systems in Enhancement of Education

10099 lectures, with a percentage of 46%, at faculties of Tanta University were provided online.

   Tanta University Council reviewed today a report at the meeting held by Tanta University Council on the role played by the Unit of Distant Learning Management Systems (DLMS) in enhancement of the educational process. The report showed the number of lectures given electronically during the first term of the academic year 2022-2023; 10099 lectures were given electronically out of a total number of 22024 lectures with a percentage of 46%. In addition, the report showed the advantages of online lectures and the tools available on the e-learning platform that allows interaction with students.

   It is worth noting that the meeting of Tanta University Council was held under chairmanship of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, in attendance of Prof. Fouad Harras, former Tanta University President and Member of Tanta University Council; Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; deans of the faculties; Judge\ Kheiry Emara, Legal Advisor of the University; and Accountant\ Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University.
