Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, “A Huge Leap in Development of the Electronic System and Technological Infrastructure at Tanta University”

78 thousand students take e-exams in 375 curricula at medical faculties

   Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, affirmed that a there is a huge leap in development of the electronic system and enhancement of the technological infrastructure at Tanta University. He declared that 78461 students took electronic exams during the academic year 2021-2022 in 375 curricula at medical faculties of the university namely faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry.

   Moreover, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, pointed out that the system of e-exams has offered more electronic services for students. He added that 3290 e-exam sessions were held at the end of the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022, and 25948 ones were held during the second semester of the same year, as well as 49223 ones at the end of the second semester.

     Furthermore, Prof. Mohammed Al-Nemr, Executive Manager of the Main Center for Electronic Services, stated that 1128 computers and 3 servers were provided to help students take the exams fast in addition to equipping all labs with all required capabilities to improve the outcomes of the educational process and to assess students effectively and objectively.
