Tanta University President, Medical Convoys Examined 1321 Patients in Zefta District and Gave their Medicaments for Free

    Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, affirmed that the university is keen on participation in Decent Life initiative through its medical convoys to serve needy families in villages and to offer them quality health care. The convoys have the latest equipment and efficient medical cadres in the light of the pioneering role played by the university in community service.    

    University President added that health care services were offered to 1321 patients by the medical convoy organized in Al-Semellawia village located in Zefta district in Gharbia governorate.  

    Prof. Emad Etman, University Vice President Community Service and Environmental Development, declared that the convoy had a great turnout of citizens. It included 12 medical specialties with participation of 24 professors from Faculty of Medicine. 

   Prof. Sahar Hazzaa, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, declared that 26 patients were transferred to University Hospital to complete their treatment for free in specializations of cardiology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and chest diseases. 

   It is worth noting that the convoy was organized with participation of Sahar Al-Haggar, Vice Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development; Mr. Mohammed Ghazy, General Manager of Environmental Projects; and Mr. Maher Saad, General Manager of Community Service.
