Prof. Mahmoud Selim Attends the Closing Event of the “Programming Skills” and “Basics of Drawing” Courses Held for Children as Part of the Presidential Initiative “A New Beginning” at the Public Service Center for Human Development

Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development, attended today the closing event of the training courses held for children aged 6 to 15, including “Programming Skills - Level One” and “Basics of Drawing - Level One”. The event took place at the Public Service Center for Human Development in attendance of Prof. Alaa Halwish, Executive Manager of the Main Center for Sustainable Training; Prof. Asmat Khorshid, Manager of the Public Service Center for Human Development; and 26 young participants along with their parents.
The Vice President awarded certificates of course completion to the children, commending their projects, which reflect ideas that align with modern trends in children’s intellectual, cognitive, and cultural development. These efforts provide children with essential skills and knowledge to deal with the future skillsets required in the labor market.
Moreover, Prof. Selim declared that these initiatives are based on the national strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, highlighting the role of universities and higher education institutions in actively contributing to developmental goals and maximizing the efficient use of material and human resources at local, regional, and national levels. He expressed gratitude to the managers of the Main Center for Sustainable Training and the Public Service Center for Human Development for their efforts in ensuring the success of these courses.
