Tanta University Vice President is Elected as a Member in the African Society of Nephrology

At the end of the 39th International Conference of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation today, Prof. Kamal Okasha, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, was elected as a member in the African Society of Nephrology & Renal Transplantation. He was also chosen as a member of the administrative board of the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation  

    Tanta University Vice President expressed his pleasure with being elected; it affirms the pioneering role played by Tanta University under presidency of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki to enhance the Egyptian-African relations and to support African fraternal countries in all fields such as nephrology.   

     It is worth mentioning that Prof. Kamal Okasha represented Tanta University in the conference held from current June 20th to 25th. He gave a lecture and chaired a seminar about acute renal failure and impact of COVID-19 on kidneys, in addition to a seminar with the African Society of Nephrology & Renal Transplantation.  

   The conference was attended by nephrology experts from various Egyptian universities and institutions, and nephrology experts from USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, and the Sudan.
