The Tanta University President expressed his pride in this outstanding accomplishment, emphasizing that it reflects the dedicated efforts made by the university across academic, research, and community service sectors. He added that this global ranking progress serves as a strong motivation to continue enhancing performance and strengthening Tanta University’s standing on both the regional and international educational and research maps.

He credited this achievement to the diligent work of the university’s Main Center for Electronic and Knowledge Services, the E-Portal Unit, and the Media Center, whose contributions have led to significant advancements in digital transformation and the availability of a larger volume of news, data, and web pages on the university's official website. He affirmed the university’s ongoing commitment to adopting best practices and global standards to improve the quality of education, scientific research, and community service.

It is worth noting that the UniRank classification specializes in assessing the online popularity of university websites that are accredited by international academic bodies. Participating universities are required to update their data monthly. The UniRank methodology evaluates the digital presence of officially recognized higher education institutions worldwide based on four independent indicators: the number of websites linking to the university’s official website (55% weight), global web traffic rank (35%), domain authority (5%), and reliability of external backlinks (5%).
