Prof. Mohamed Hussein Tanta University President received today in his office the institutional and program accreditation teams from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), tasked with evaluating the Faculty of Computers and Information. The delegation was headed by Prof. Yasmin Ali Hassan Fahmy, and included Prof. Abdel Hamid Amin Ali Abdallah, Prof. Lamiaa Abdallah Ahmed El-Refai, and Prof. Tarek Mostafa Mahmoud Shehata.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Nancy El-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information; Prof. Osama Ghoneim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Program Accreditation Coordinator; Prof. Omnia Gamal El-Din Anwar El-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Institutional Accreditation Coordinator; and Prof. Sabah Sharshour, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center.
During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Hussein Tanta University President emphasized that the university has made significant efforts in recent years to implement quality standards across its faculties and academic programs, and to develop its infrastructure and educational resources in support of both the educational and research processes. He highlighted the vital role that quality assurance plays in advancing the standard of higher education and in strengthening the university’s competitive standing as a leading academic institution both locally and regionally.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein Tanta University President also reaffirmed the university’s strong commitment to fostering a culture of quality among all its members and providing full support to faculties and various units in implementing quality systems and achieving accreditation. He extended his thanks to the quality coordinators at the faculties, the Quality Assurance Center, and the Main Center for Institutional Performance for their continuous efforts in preparing all university faculties, units, and programs for accreditation.
