He added that the university seeks to transform Tanta University into a smart and innovative educational institution that produces leaders and entrepreneurs capable of competing in the international labor market. This will be achieved through seven key pillars that prioritize quality, digital transformation, and internationalization. He further noted that the strategic plan aligns with the Egyptian state’s vision for sustainable development, as the university pursues 23 strategic objectives aimed at enhancing applied research that serves the national economy, reinforcing the university’s role as a center of expertise supporting society, and continuously advancing its standing in prestigious international rankings.
The new strategic plan includes an ambitious structure comprising seven main pillars, from which 23 strategic objectives are derived. Its success will be measured through 82 precise performance indicators. Through its updated vision, the university seeks to deliver distinguished higher education that meets labor market demands and fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, while providing a technologically advanced learning environment that supports innovation and applied scientific research.
The seven pillars of the plan encompass improving the quality of education and achieving academic excellence in accordance with international standards, advancing scientific research and innovation, and strengthening the university’s role in community service and national awareness. The plan also places strong emphasis on “internationalization” and global strategic partnerships, as well as full digital transformation toward a “smart university” model. In addition, it addresses the development of administrative and financial governance and prioritizes quality of life and human resource development for all university members.
The report underscored Tanta University’s commitment to its social and economic responsibilities through the establishment of effective partnerships that serve the community and contribute to economic growth, while upholding established academic values and international standards.
