Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, and Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, participated on the first day of the activities of the Egypt Forum 2026, in a dialogue session entitled "What do our children learn... "Does this qualify them for the future?" within the activities of the round table on the theme «Building the Human Being», with the broad participation of various segments of Egyptian society and those interested in Egyptian affairs, including; the government, including ministers, governors, heads of its affiliated bodies and entities, as well as representatives of civil society institutions, experts, thinkers, and specialists, in addition to public figures, politicians, and citizens from various segments.

    The session discussed the required transformations in the education system, moving from focusing on providing educational opportunities to ensuring the quality of learning and its outcomes, and the extent to which education systems prepare students for the demands of university studies and the labor market. The table discussed mechanisms for developing curricula and evaluation methods, enhancing future skills, and raising the efficiency of the education and training systems, in addition to the importance of linking academic programs, scientific research, and innovation to the needs of productive sectors and future jobs, which contributes to building a more sustainable and competitive educational system, and preparing generations that possess the knowledge, skills, and capabilities necessary to keep pace with the rapid economic and technological transformations.
