Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, honored Tanta University on the occasion of its inclusion in the 2025 edition of the QS World University Rankings. Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, received the official certificate during a ceremony attended by Prof. Ashwin Fernandes, Regional Director for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia at QS, along with several presidents of public, private, national, and technological universities, representatives of international university branches, and senior officials from the Ministry.

Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his pride and delight at this achievement, emphasizing that it marks a significant milestone in the university's pursuit of academic and research excellence at both regional and global levels. He noted that Tanta University's inclusion in the QS World Rankings reflects the collective and ongoing efforts of faculty members, researchers, students, and administrative staff, all of whom are dedicated to enhancing the quality of educational services, research activities, and community engagement offered by the university.

The university president further stated that this accomplishment will serve as a strong motivator to continue the rigorous development of academic programs, improve the quality of research outputs, and expand international partnerships. These efforts are aligned with the national strategy for higher education and scientific research, the state’s sustainable development agenda, and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
