Tanta University President Receives QS World University Rankings 2025 Certificate

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President , received the official QS World University Rankings 2025 certificate from Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, during a ceremony attended by prof. Ashwin Fernandes, Regional Director for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia at QS Rankings. The event was also attended by presidents of public, private, national, and technological universities, representatives of international university branches in Egypt, and senior officials from the Ministry.

Prof. Hussein expressed his pride and delight at this achievement, describing it as a significant step forward in the university’s vision to attain academic and research leadership regionally and globally. He emphasized that Tanta University's inclusion in the QS World University Rankings reflects the collective and sustained efforts of its faculty members, researchers, students, and administrative staff—all committed to elevating the quality of education, research, and community services offered by the university.

He added that this milestone serves as a strong incentive to continue advancing academic programs, enhancing research output, and expanding international partnerships. It aligns with Egypt’s National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Sustainable Development Goals, and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Prof. Hussein also extended his sincere gratitude to Prof. Ayman Ashour for his ongoing support of higher education and research institutions in Egypt. He thanked the QS team for their efforts in assessing global universities and reaffirmed Tanta University’s dedication to pursuing further excellence and advancing its position in international rankings.
