Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, accompanied by Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, conducted today an extensive inspection tour to follow up on the progress of electronic examinations for the first semester at the Faculties of Nursing and Pharmacy, at the Electronic Testing Center located in the university’s Medical Complex. The tour also included inspection of examination committees at the Faculty of Medicine and the Technical Institute of Nursing.
The tour was attended by Prof. Afaf Bassal, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Mona El-Aasar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals; Prof. Mohamed El-Nemr, Executive Director of the Central Electronic and Knowledge Services Center; in addition to a number of vice deans and faculty members.
During the tour, the University President checked on the regularity of examination committees and the availability of a calm and suitable atmosphere for students. He also ensured the efficiency of technical systems and the speed of the information network inside the halls, stressing the importance of overcoming any obstacles that students may face during examinations.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that Tanta University is moving steadily forward in its strategic plan toward comprehensive digital transformation, noting that electronic examinations represent a fundamental pillar in ensuring fairness and full transparency in student assessment. He praised the high level of discipline observed during the examinations and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to mobilizing all technological and human resources to provide an ideal examination environment that aligns with international quality standards, ensuring accurate and rapid results.
He also commended the level of preparation at the Electronic Testing Center, confirming that it represents a qualitative leap in the university’s educational system, as it enables conducting exams for large numbers of students simultaneously. The tour concluded with discussions with several students to gather their feedback on the examinations and services provided inside the halls, where students expressed their satisfaction with the ease of using the electronic systems.
For his part, Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, stated that the university is closely monitoring the examination process across all faculties, emphasizing full coordination with the Electronic Services Center to ensure system stability. He noted that the level of readiness has been raised to address any emergencies immediately, while strictly adhering to all regulations governing examinations to guarantee students’ rights and the integrity of evaluation procedures.
