Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, participated in the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, held under the chairmanship of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and attended by Prof. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary of the Council, along with the council members. The meeting took place at Port Said University. According to a statement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Minister directed universities to ensure full preparedness for the first-semester examinations of the current academic year, activate the role of research centers, innovation incubators, and entrepreneurship hubs within universities, encourage international publishing in prestigious scientific journals, and support applied scientific research linked to sustainable development plans. The Council also approved the guiding model for the strategic plan of sector committees, to serve as a framework for each committee in developing its own strategic plan.
