Under the theme “Youth Awareness and Shaping the Future,” the President of Tanta University participates in the 93rd Educational Seminar of the Popular and Military Defense Forces

   In the presence of Major General Staff Officer Hisham Hosni Hassan Ahmed, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, took part in the activities of the ninety-third educational seminar organized by the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces at Damanhour University headquarters. This participation comes within the framework of strengthening constructive cooperation between academic institutions and the Egyptian Armed Forces, and serves as an affirmation of Tanta University’s pioneering role in supporting national efforts aimed at safeguarding the minds of youth against current challenges and instilling the values of loyalty and belonging.

   On the sidelines of the event, Prof. Mohamed Hussein met with Major General Staff Officer Hisham Hosni Hassan Ahmed, during which he presented him with a copy of the university’s monthly publication, the “Student Activities Bulletin.” The University President explained that this bulletin represents a comprehensive documentary record highlighting the university’s efforts in shaping student awareness, while shedding light on awareness-raising activities designed to reveal facts and confront malicious rumors that seek to undermine the nation’s stability.

   During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized the critical importance of the cohesion of the “home front,” noting that the university works through its various channels to underscore the necessity of national unity in confronting awareness wars. He added that the university assumes the responsibility of enlightening young people about the scale of achievements being realized on the ground, so that they may serve as a solid bulwark against any attempts to distort awareness or spread negative energies.

   In a related context, the President of Tanta University stressed the strategic role of student unions as an effective soft power within the university campus, as they contribute directly to conveying an accurate and honorable image of the efforts exerted by Egyptian universities in building individuals and developing society. He concluded his remarks by affirming the university’s continued commitment to intensifying its educational seminars and awareness programs, stemming from its firm belief that youth constitute the fundamental pillar in shaping Egypt’s future.
