President of Tanta University Concludes the “Academic Leadership Development” Program with a Lecture on the Art of University Leadership

   Professor Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, concluded today the activities of the “Academic Leadership Development” program, organized by the University's Main Center for Sustainable Training. The event was attended by Professor Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Alaa Halwish, Executive Director of the Center, and a number of faculty members.

   At the closing session, Professor Mohamed Hussein delivered a lecture entitled “The Art of University Leadership,” in which he discussed the fundamental pillars of successful management of educational institutions and the development of leadership competencies among academics in alignment with the University's future vision and the state's aspirations for advancing higher education.

   The University President emphasized that preparing second- and third-tier academic leaders represents a genuine investment in the future of Tanta University. He noted that university leadership is an art that combines a clear strategic vision with intelligent, people-centered management capable of fostering creativity and innovation within the educational system. He further affirmed the University's commitment, through such programs, to equipping its personnel with the latest tools and practices in strategic planning and institutional development to ensure the sustainability of the University's academic and societal excellence.

   During the closing ceremony, Professor Mohamed Hussein honored the trainers who contributed to delivering the program’s academic content in recognition of their efforts. He also awarded certificates to participating academic leaders, wishing them success in applying the knowledge and skills they acquired within their respective faculties and administrative units.

   It is worth noting that the program included a series of specialized lectures addressing a range of vital topics. Professor Hatem Amin, University Secretary-General, and Professor El-Sayed El-Agouz delivered a lecture entitled “Institutional Development and International Relations Across University Sectors – Egypt Vision 2030.” Professor Wesam Salah presented a lecture on Strategic Planning, while Major General Professor Ahmed Abdel Hamid Abdel Barr addressed Crisis and Risk Management. Professor Hussein Othman delivered a lecture on Legal Aspects of University Administration, and Professor Modather Abu El-Kheir reviewed Financial and Administrative Aspects of Universities. Professor Mahmoud Selim discussed Self-Development Toward Smart Universities, while Professor Alaa Halwish presented a lecture on Leadership, Supervision, and Team Management.
