In collaboration with the Innovators and Geniuses Care Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education: Tanta University Organizes Training Camp for Teams Participating in the Startup Olympics

 Today, Tanta University, in collaboration with the Innovators and Geniuses Care Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, organized a training and qualification camp for the teams participating in the Startup Olympics competition at the Talented Care Center at Tanta University. The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, and supervised and attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, emphasized that supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among university students is a top priority in the university's strategic plan. He explained that the university constantly aims to develop and enhance the capabilities of its students, support their creativity, establish an encouraging and supportive environment for innovation, invest in their minds and ideas, and help them transform these into outstanding innovations.

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Vice President of the University, explained that the Olympics targets students and researchers from Egyptian universities who have innovative ideas and wish to develop them into real business models and establish startups. He pointed out that the training is part of preparing the participating university teams for the final selection round at the university level to choose the best startup ideas to compete at the university level. He also noted that the projects will be evaluated by a committee of experts in entrepreneurship and representatives from the Innovators and Geniuses Care Fund.

It is noteworthy that the events are supervised by Prof. Yasser Abdo, Tanta University's coordinator for the Innovators and Geniuses Care Fund, Prof. Youssef Al-Najjar, professor at the Faculty of Science as the executive supervisor, Abdullah Al-Wakeel, assistant lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science as the student guidance supervisor, and Mohamed Al-Qusayr, Director of Youth Care at the university.
