Implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between Tanta University and Bradford University: British Student Delegation Participates in a Training Program at Tanta University

Tanta University received a student delegation from Bradford University, UK, where they met today with Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs. This is part of a month-long training program organized by the university for 31 students from Bradford University. The aim is to enhance cultural and scientific relations and to strengthen its educational and research role through academic cooperation with foreign universities. The meeting was attended by Prof. Emad Atman, former Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development and the university's coordinator for the cooperation agreement with Bradford University, Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Mustafa El-Sawaf, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and a number of faculty members from the college.

Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, stated that the cooperation agreement with Bradford University is part of Tanta University's strategic plan, which focuses on achieving the principles of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research through internationalization and effective partnerships with foreign universities that hold advanced positions in international rankings. He explained that the university's outstanding capabilities in terms of material and human resources, which the university has strengthened in recent years, had a positive impact in attracting distinguished foreign universities in international rankings to cooperate with Tanta University.

Prof. Mohamed Hussein highlighted that the university's infrastructure, including advanced facilities and laboratories equipped according to the latest global standards, in addition to luxurious hotel-style accommodation units for students and the provision of all support and care, contributed to achieving the training targets and the satisfaction of the trainee students. He explained that the design of the training programs took into account the knowledge diversity of the trainees' specializations and technological and technical developments. This was conducted at the University Center for Career Development at the Faculty of Engineering and in the university's advanced and specialized laboratories. He extended his thanks to Prof. Emad Atman, Prof. Ahmed Nasr, and the team organizing the visit.

Prof. Ahmed Nasr added that the visit includes a recreational program to visit several tourist attractions and entertainment spots in various governorates, alongside organizing sports and recreational activities within the university. He explained that the cooperation agreement includes training programs, preparation for dual degrees in some academic programs at the Faculty of Engineering, in addition to research and institutional cooperation and student exchange, which contributes to improving Tanta University's leadership position in international rankings.

It is worth mentioning that Bradford University holds an advanced position in international rankings, such as THE World Times ranking (501 globally), QS World ranking (531 globally), and QS Sustainability ranking (363 globally).
