It is worth noting that the Shanghai ranking is one of the world's most significant academic rankings, assessing universities across 55 subjects within the Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. The Shanghai ranking evaluates institutions based on five primary indicators: research published in Q1 journals, field-normalized citation impact, proportion of publications with international co-authorship in various areas of the ranking, number of publications in top international journals and conferences, and the number of faculty members who have received international awards in their fields.
