Prof. Mohamed Hussein, “The conference creates opportunities for collaboration among Arab and foreign universities.”
Prof. Bassam Mohamed Al-Mohadin, Chairman of the Conference of the Arab Organization for Admission and Registration Officers in Arab Universities held in Oman and Secretary-General of the Arab Organization for Admission and Registration Officers in Arab Universities, and Prof. Salem Al-Ereimy, Vice President of the National University for Science and Technology in Oman, honored Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, for his influential and fruitful participation in the conference that enriched its scientific discussions.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein extended his gratitude to the organizers of the conference. He affirmed the significance of such scientific events in enhancing cooperation among participating Arab and foreign universities to leverage AI in the field of enrollment and registration processes of university students. In addition, he commended the efforts of all researchers and participants in the conference, held over three days from December 15 to 18, 2024.
It is worth noting that, during the conference, Prof. Mohamed Hussein delivered a lecture titled "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Empowering People with Disabilities: Opportunities and Challenges." Moreover, he presented the trial of Tanta University to support students with disabilities in the framework of its strategy. He pointed out the goals of this strategy and the positive impact of inaugurating the Service Center for Students with Disabilities. The center was established in cooperation with AMIDEAST and funded by USAID. Furthermore, he gave a presentation titled "Mechanisms for Enrollment and Verification of International Students' Certificates". He explained the mechanisms of the "Study in Egypt" platform and gave examples of international students’ certificates and how the platform is used to verify them.
