Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, received today in his office Major General Ashraf El-Gendy, Governor of Gharbia, who extended his congratulations following the issuance of the presidential decree appointing him as President of Tanta University.
Major General Ashraf El-Gendy congratulated Prof. Mohamed Hussein on the trust placed in him by the political leadership, praising his extensive experience and contributions in the fields of higher education, scientific research, and administration. He expressed his confidence that the coming period would witness further achievements and successes for the university in various academic and research fields under his leadership. He also emphasized the strong relationship between the governorate and the university, considering it a beacon of knowledge and expertise with its distinguished academic and research staff. He further affirmed the governorate's continuous support for Tanta University in achieving greater excellence and leadership, positioning it among the world's top universities.
In response, Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his sincere gratitude for the congratulatory gesture, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering productive and constructive collaboration with the governorate to enhance the educational and research environment.
