Tanta University President, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, received today at his office the renowned journalist Khaled El-Balshy, President of the Journalists' Syndicate. The meeting was attended by journalist Nasser Tahoun, Head of the Syndicate Committee in Gharbia, along with journalists Shaaban El-Eisawy, Islam El-Khayat, Mohamed Ezz, and Ghareeb El-Dematy.

During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his pleasure in receiving the delegation and extended his gratitude to the Syndicate President for the visit. He highlighted the pivotal role journalists and media professionals play in supporting Tanta University as true partners in the university’s achievements. He also affirmed the university’s full readiness to cooperate with the Journalists' Syndicate and all national media institutions.

For his part, El-Balshy congratulated Prof. Hussein on the presidential decree appointing him as President of Tanta University, wishing continued success for the university, especially in light of the notable progress being made in academic, research, and community service areas.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Tanta University President presented the university’s commemorative shield to the President of the Journalists' Syndicate.
