Tanta University hosted today the meeting of the Executive Committee for Information Technology Training at the Supreme Council of Universities, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University; Prof. Mohamed Hassan Gadallah, Director of the Central Unit for IT Training; Prof. Alaa Helweesh, Director of the Main Center for Sustainable Training at Tanta University; members of the executive committee; and representatives of IT training centers from various public, national, and private universities.

In his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his pleasure in hosting the committee's meeting, emphasizing the importance of equipping faculty members and teaching assistants with modern technological and AI tools. He praised the national efforts, led by H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to advance automation and eliminate digital illiteracy. He also commended the tangible progress of the central unit in developing and updating its programs to meet current global challenges in digitalization, cybersecurity, and AI applications.

Prof. Mohamed Hassan Gadallah welcomed all participants, expressing his delight to be at the esteemed Tanta University. He congratulated Prof. Mohamed Hussein on his presidential appointment and acknowledged Tanta University’s pioneering role in digital transformation, highlighting its early adoption of digital systems and its exemplary approach. He also thanked the university for its excellent organization and warm hospitality.
