Tanta University President Attends the Launch of the "Be Prepared" Initiative at Career Development Centers

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President , accompanied by Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, witnessed today the launch of the second phase of the "Be Prepared – One Million Innovators Ready for the Labor Market" initiative at the university’s Career Development Centers. The initiative was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in partnership with a number of local and international organizations, under the umbrella of the presidential initiative “Alliance and Development.”


During his visit, Prof. Hussein affirmed the university’s commitment to ensuring the readiness of the centers to host trainees from across Egyptian universities, providing all necessary human and material resources, while guaranteeing that the training content fully complies with the standards set by the Supreme Council of Universities.


The University President also held an open dialogue with trainees and work teams, highlighting that the initiative reflects the strong interest of the political leadership in preparing young people and university students to become a driving force in Egypt’s development efforts and in building the New Republic. He stressed the importance of the initiative, its objectives, and its expected outcomes in equipping youth with the skills and knowledge required to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.


Prof. Hussein added that the implementation of the initiative at Tanta University will include the organization of a series of job fairs in collaboration with industrial partners across the Delta region, aiming to provide employment opportunities for graduates of the program.


The initiative seeks to prepare young people for the labor market by delivering advanced training programs through Career Development Centers at Egyptian universities, representing a key step toward enhancing the skills of Egyptian youth and effectively qualifying them to contribute to sustainable development.
