Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, extends, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Vice Presidents of the University, the Deans of the Faculties, faculty members, staff, and students, his sincerest congratulations and heartfelt best wishes to Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moaty on the occasion of taking the constitutional oath before His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, upon his appointment as Governor of Gharbia.

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein expresses his best wishes for every success in the Governor’s new national mission, affirming that his appointment reflects the great confidence placed in his competence and ability to continue the process of development and construction within Gharbia Governorate in a manner that fulfills citizens’ aspirations and advances Egypt Vision 2030.

   He further emphasized that Tanta University, as the leading house of expertise in the Governorate, places all its academic, research, and community service capabilities at the full disposal of the Governorate’s executive body, in order to achieve a comprehensive developmental leap that will be tangibly felt by citizens across all sectors.

   The University President also affirmed his aspiration to strengthen frameworks of joint cooperation between the University and the Governorate in the coming period, noting that integration between academic institutions and executive authorities constitutes the fundamental pillar for supporting national projects and presidential initiatives, foremost among them the “Decent Life” initiative aimed at developing the villages of the Egyptian countryside.
