This inauguration marks the culmination of a series of distinguished achievements accomplished by the Faculty of Education following its selection among only five Egyptian universities in the first phase of the initiative’s implementation, in accordance with rigorous international standards.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ahmed Helal, Dean of the Faculty of Education; the faculty vice deans; and a number of faculty members.

He further noted that the university aims to ensure the sustainability of this academic impact through integrating these outcomes into its regulations and academic programs, thereby maintaining Tanta University’s position as a leading institution in the advancement of education in Egypt.
The new facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art devices and technologies designed to digitalize the educational process and enhance the competencies of student teachers in line with the requirements of the new academic regulations and labor market demands. The Faculty also presented its sustainability implementation plan, which includes establishing a permanent unit within the Faculty to oversee the “Teacher Excellence Initiative,” updating curricula to incorporate critical thinking, digital education, and classroom management skills, applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies and Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs), and developing special education programs to prepare individualized educational plans for students with special needs.
