Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, conducted an extensive inspection tour of the Faculty of Arts today, Wednesday. He was received by Prof. Ahmed Abada Al-Arabi, Dean of the Faculty, along with the faculty’s vice deans and several directors of specialized centers and units, to review the operations of educational and service units and assess the quality of services provided to students.
The President began his tour by visiting the Student Disability Services Center, emphasizing its pivotal role in offering educational and rehabilitative support. He affirmed the university’s vision of fostering an inclusive educational environment that ensures equal opportunities for all students with special needs, directing the intensification of student activities that promote integration, skill development, and the removal of any obstacles hindering their academic excellence.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein also visited the Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers and held a direct meeting with international students to hear their opinions and aspirations. He stressed the necessity of providing immediate and innovative solutions to any challenges they face, while ensuring all means of comfort and advanced educational tools befitting Tanta University’s reputation in the international academic community, thereby strengthening cultural ties between Egyptians and foreign communities.
The tour concluded with a visit to the Geography Department laboratories, where the President reviewed the latest surveying equipment and technologies used in training and scientific research. He received a detailed explanation of the operational mechanisms of these devices, emphasizing the importance of keeping pace with rapid scientific developments and training students on the latest technological systems to meet the demands of the labor market and rigorous academic research.
