Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, expressed his sincere congratulations and pride on behalf of the university community to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of the historic decision unanimously adopted during the 15th session of the General Conference of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) held in the city of Kazan, which renewed Egypt’s chairmanship of the conference for a new term.
Prof. Hussein also extended his highest congratulations to Prof. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in recognition of the ministry’s efforts in representing Egypt with distinction in international academic and cultural forums.
The university president emphasized that this renewal constitutes an international vote of renewed confidence in the pioneering role Egypt plays under the leadership of President El-Sisi. He pointed out that Egypt will always remain a beacon of knowledge and a center of culture in the Islamic world. He further noted that this achievement reflects global recognition of Egyptian initiatives in educational digital transformation, heritage preservation, and the support of scientific research.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein added that Tanta University, as part of the Egyptian higher education system, will continue to provide all its scientific and research capabilities to support the organization’s objectives, contributing to sustainable development and cultural cooperation among the peoples of the Islamic world.
