Professor Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, participated in the celebration organized by the Diocese of Tanta and Its Affiliates on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee commemorating fifty years of monastic service of His Grace Bishop Paula, Metropolitan of Tanta and Its Affiliates. The event was attended by Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moaty, Governor of Gharbia; Major General Ashraf Farouk, Head of the National Security Authority in Central Delta; Professor El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Brigadier Mohamed Sherif of the National Security Department in Gharbia; Colonel Mohamed Yehia, Head of the National Security Authority Branch in Gharbia; Brigadier General Staff Wael Fathy, the Governorate’s Military Advisor; members of the House of Representatives and Senate; as well as a distinguished gathering of executive, public, religious, and community leaders, in addition to several public figures and citizens of the governorate.

 

    Professor Mohamed Hussein affirmed that today’s participation in celebrating the Golden Jubilee of His Grace Bishop Paula’s monastic service reflects profound appreciation for a distinguished religious and national figure who, over the course of half a century, has successfully promoted the values of love, peace, and dedicated community service. He noted that His Grace Bishop Paula represents an exemplary model of generosity and patriotism, emphasizing that Tanta University takes pride in its enduring partnership with the Diocese in various developmental and awareness initiatives serving the people of Gharbia Governorate. He further added that the unity demonstrated today among the governorate’s executive, security, religious, and public leadership clearly reflects the strength and cohesion of the Egyptian national fabric, and serves as a strong motivation for all to continue working together for the advancement and prosperity of the nation.
