Tanta University participated in the activities of the Akhbar El-Youm Foundation Educational Exhibition, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Mohamed El-Shishtawy, Director of the University Center for International Classification, as part of the University's keenness to communicate directly with high school students, technical certificates and parents, and to introduce them to its academic programs and educational services.
Tanta University's pavilion witnessed a large turnout of students wishing to learn about the distinguished colleges and academic programs offered by the university, as university representatives provided a comprehensive explanation of the modern and interdisciplinary study programs, study systems, and training and qualification opportunities, reflecting the university's orientation towards preparing graduates who possess the skills and knowledge that are compatible with the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, stressed that the university's participation in the Akhbar El-Youm Foundation Educational Exhibition comes from its mission to support students during the stage of choosing a university major, by providing accurate information and academic guidance that helps them make decisions based on their abilities, inclinations and future ambitions.
The university president added that Tanta University continues to develop its educational system by creating modern academic programs and interdisciplinary specializations that keep pace with scientific and technological developments, in addition to enhancing the quality of the educational and research process, which was reflected in the university's continuous progress in various international classifications, which enhances its position among Egyptian and regional universities, and contributes to achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and Egypt's Vision 2030.
For his part, Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, explained that participation in the exhibition embodies the university's societal role in providing support and guidance to students and their families, by introducing them to available educational opportunities and helping them choose academic programs that match their capabilities and the needs of the labor market, which contributes to preparing qualified cadres capable of competing and actively participating in the development process.
He pointed out that the university is keen to invest its participation in such events to enhance communication with various segments of society, and to highlight its educational and research capabilities and advanced infrastructure, as well as to introduce the services it provides to its students, thus consolidating its position as one of the leading national universities.
