Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that Tanta University continues to fulfill its national and developmental role as an active educational and research institution within the framework of the Egyptian state, and as a partner in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

He noted that the launch of the “Grand Creativity Caravan” Initiative and preparations for the inauguration of the National Awareness-Building Center in November 2026 represent the practical implementation of the outcomes of the Egypt Forum 2026 and embody the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to invest in developing the capabilities of the Egyptian people, recognizing them as the cornerstone of achieving comprehensive development and strengthening the state's ability to address future challenges.

He further explained that both initiatives stem from an integrated national vision and strategy that brings together awareness-building, talent discovery, and the development of young people's creative abilities, with the aim of preparing generations equipped with knowledge, a strong sense of national belonging, innovation skills, and the ability to actively participate in building the New Republic.

The University President added that the “Grand Creativity Caravan” Initiative aims to discover and nurture young talents in the arts, culture, and creative fields among university students through integrated implementation pathways that connect talent identification with skills development, professional training, and applied creativity. This approach seeks to unleash young people's potential and transform it into added value for society.

He further explained that the National Awareness-Building Center will serve as a sustainable institutional platform for strengthening national identity, fostering a sense of belonging and social responsibility, raising young people's awareness of national issues and challenges, and enhancing their ability to think critically and distinguish facts from rumors and misinformation.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hussein stressed that the integration of the two initiatives reflects the University's commitment to moving beyond formulating visions and recommendations toward implementing sustainable institutional programs and mechanisms whose impact can be measured.

He emphasized that investing in human development goes beyond scientific and academic qualifications to encompass building an informed and conscious personality, nurturing creative abilities, and promoting community engagement. This comprehensive approach aims to equip young people to shoulder their national responsibilities and contribute effectively to safeguarding the nation's achievements and shaping its future.

For his part, Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moaty, Governor of Gharbia, expressed his pleasure at participating in Tanta University Council meetings, emphasizing that the University serves as the governorate's scientific arm and a key source of support. He highlighted its academic and research expertise, which contributes to advancing development plans and providing scientific and practical solutions to community challenges.

He also praised the ongoing cooperation with the University and extended his appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hussein for his continued support of the governorate's efforts and his prompt response to its needs.

The Governor noted that October witnessed several important occasions and events, foremost among them the celebrations marking the governorate's National Day and the annual celebration of the birth of El-Sayed El-Badawi.

He also highlighted the governorate's efforts to promote national awareness through the “With Our Awareness, We Develop Our Country” Initiative, which aims to organize field visits for young people and students to national development projects. He emphasized that these visits would continue to be expanded, alongside welcoming delegations from outside the governorate to learn about the achievements on the ground in Gharbia, particularly the projects implemented under the presidential “Decent Life” (Hayah Karima) Initiative in Zefta District and Nahtay Village, which serve as a model of integrated development.

These visits aim to familiarize participants with the state's development efforts and strengthen their ability to confront rumors and misinformation.

The Governor stressed that work would continue in accordance with an ambitious vision aimed at upgrading public services, improving citizens' quality of life, and strengthening Gharbia Governorate's standing across various fields of development and progress.
