The periodical meeting of Tanta University Council was held today under chairmanship of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, in attendance of Prof. Fouad Harras, former Tanta University President; Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; deans of faculties and Accountant\ Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the university.

   During the meeting, Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, congratulated Council members and all university personnel on the forthcoming Eid Al-Fitr. In addition, he welcomed Prof. Hatem Amin and congratulated him on the decision issued by President\ Abdel Fattah El-Sisi appointing him as University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. Moreover, he wished Prof. Amin more success in development of postgraduate studies and research and advancement of the university in world rankings.
