In its session held today under chairmanship of Prof. Kamal Okasha, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, Postgraduate Studies Council at Tanta University honored Prof. Abdel Nabi Kabil, Professor of New and Renewable Energy at Faculty of Engineering, because he came as the top researcher worldwide in the field of water desalination using solar power from 2018 till now according to Scopus.

   Prof. Kamal Okasha affirmed that Tanta University takes pride in its outstanding scientists in various areas. He pointed out that the university provides professors and researchers with financial and psychological support to conduct research and to publish their papers internationally so that the academic reputation of the university can be improved, and the Arab and world ranks of the university can be raised. He congratulated Prof. Abdel Nabi Kabil who is a very distinguished figure at the university and an example to follow by academic staff, assistant staff, and junior researchers at different faculties of the university.

   Furthermore, Prof. Abdel Nabi Kabil expressed his pleasure with the honoring as a good attitude of Tanta University that he is proud to be affiliated to. He thanked Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, and university vice presidents for supporting and enhancing scientific research that is the basis of comprehensive and sustainable development.
