The projects aim to enhance local industries and achieve the goals of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research
The committee of monitoring self-funded innovative projects held a meeting yesterday at Tanta University in attendance of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of the University; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; committee members; and project owners, including students and fresh graduates.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein voiced his pleasure with the self-funded projects and their progress, particularly with the university's role in funding them and offering technical assistance by academic staff members and technical experts across various university faculties. He highlighted the significance of promoting innovative ideas and emerging projects in alignment with the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to achieve knowledge-based investment, prepare a generation of innovative students and graduates, and foster entrepreneurs. This is achieved in integration with the university’s sectors, centers, and units, as well as development partners in Gharbia Governorate. He indicated that Tanta University has the institutional, physical, and human resources necessary to maximize the potential of its students and graduates, in line with the strategic vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
