Acting President of Tanta University Attends the Launching Ceremony of “Students for Egypt” Group in the Academic Year 2024-2025

   Today, "Students for Egypt" group at Tanta University organized its launching ceremony in the academic year 2024/2025. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, as well as deans and vice deans of faculties, leaders of student groups, a number of academic staff members, Mr. Mohamed El-Qasir, General Manager of the General Administration for Student Welfare, and the group's student members.

  At the beginning of his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein voiced his gratitude and appreciation on behalf of all members of Tanta University to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the presidential initiatives that aim to support Egyptian citizens. These initiatives, he added, have significantly contributed to development and progress across various sectors.

   In addition, he affirmed that Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research seeks to engage students in diverse extracurricular activities, which play a vital role in enhancing students' skills, knowledge, and values. He also indicated that Tanta University actively supports student activities in all forms, encouraging students to develop their talents with the purpose of preparing innovative and creative generations able to shape homeland's future.

   Moreover, Prof. Mohamed Hussein further highlighted that the "Students for Egypt" group is a patriotic student entity that was established with a strong foundation and clear vision. It aims to create an organized and empowered student community that helps to achieve Egypt's 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The group continually provides university students with the latest training methods in various developmental fields to raise awareness and encourage effective participation in national development plans.
