Today, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, inaugurated the newly completed development works at the Faculty of Pharmacy. He was accompanied by Prof. Mona Al-Asar, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Naglaa El-Sheitani, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Iman Gouda Khodr Saad, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Mohamed El-Nemr, Director of the Main Center for Electronic and Cognitive Services.
During his tour, Prof. Mohamed Hussein commended the development efforts, which included the renovation of several administrative offices that provide services to students and alumni, as well as the enhancement of both interior and exterior spaces of the faculty. These upgrades were carried out in line with the latest educational quality standards and aim to provide an attractive and comfortable environment for students and academic staff, thereby contributing to the advancement of both educational and research processes.
Prof. Hussein also inspected the operations of the faculty’s educational pharmaceutical factory, emphasizing its crucial role in offering students hands-on training and practical application of theoretical concepts. He underscored the importance of continuously developing the facility and equipping it with the latest technologies to ensure students receive optimal practical training that prepares them for the job market.
He affirmed that the university places great importance on the continuous development of all its faculties and units. The ongoing upgrades are part of a comprehensive plan to elevate the quality of educational and research services provided by the university. He pointed out that the modernization of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the enhancement of its facilities are central to the university’s efforts to support the pharmaceutical sector and to graduate highly qualified pharmacists capable of meeting the needs of society.
Prof. Mona Al-Asar stated that during his visit, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, also inspected the operations of the General Examination Control Room, where he was briefed on the mechanisms of the electronic grading system. He received a detailed explanation of the procedures followed within the control room to ensure accuracy and transparency in recording and compiling students' grades. Prof. Hussein highlighted the importance of the system in accelerating the correction process, minimizing human error, and promoting fairness among students. He praised the dedication and precision of the control room staff and reiterated the university’s full support for further developing the control systems by integrating the latest technologies to ensure the efficient and effective management of examinations.
