Today, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of practical and oral examinations held at the Faculty of Sport Sciences. He was accompanied by Prof. Hani Said, Dean of the Faculty, along with several faculty members.
During the visit, the University President inspected various examination halls, sports fields, and gymnasiums where the practical exams for first-year students in Gymnastics and oral exams in Introduction to Sports Training were taking place. He ensured that the examinations were proceeding according to the pre-established plans and that all necessary tools and equipment were available to facilitate a smooth and efficient examination process.
Prof. Hussein also listened to faculty members’ explanations regarding the nature of the practical assessments and the specific skills being evaluated. He was briefed on the mechanism of conducting oral interviews and the criteria for student assessment. He emphasized the importance of objectivity and transparency in the evaluation process to guarantee that every student receives a fair and accurate grade.
On the sidelines of his tour of the oral and practical exams, the University President reviewed the electronic grading system implemented by the faculty. He stressed the importance of adhering to established procedures and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality concerning student data during examinations, grading, and result recording.
For his part, Prof. Hani Said expressed his appreciation for the visit by the University President and his continued interest in overseeing the examination process. He affirmed the Faculty’s commitment to applying the highest standards of quality in both practical and oral evaluations to ensure the graduation of well-qualified sports professionals capable of serving the community effectively.
