Tanta University announces the start of receiving applications for the University’s Internal Excellence Awards, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University. This initiative comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the Supreme Council of Universities, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, and the Egypt Government Excellence Award. The aim is to promote a culture of excellence and innovation, and to capitalize on the successes the university has achieved in the field of government excellence awards. According to the announced schedule, applications will be received from Sunday, August 10, 2025, until Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that these awards are an investment in the successes the university has achieved in the field of government excellence awards, and a reaffirmation of the university’s strong commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation among all its members. This contributes to improving institutional and academic performance. He stressed the role of the awards in motivating university members to innovate and create, which enhances performance quality and makes Tanta University a model to be emulated in institutional development and academic distinction.

For his part, Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Head of the Egypt Government Excellence Award Management Team (“Internal Awards”) at the university, added that the main goal of these awards is to create a positive competitive environment that encourages creativity and innovation at all administrative and academic levels. It is an opportunity to recognize outstanding efforts in various fields and to stimulate the spirit of creativity and perfection, thereby contributing to achieving the university’s vision for excellence and leadership. He called on everyone to participate in the competition, which helps improve the work environment and deliver better services.
