Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, participated today in the university's annual Iftar for international students of various nationalities. Also present were Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, a number of deans and vice deans, and Prof. Shahira Sharaf El-Din, Director of the Center for International Relations and International Students.
The event was marked by a joyful Ramadan atmosphere. Prof. Hussein engaged in conversation with the international students, listening to their academic experiences and their observations of Ramadan in Egypt. During his tour of the Iftar tables, the University President emphasized that the university is a home that embraces all its students from diverse cultures.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that international students are ambassadors for Tanta University in their home countries, stressing the university's ongoing commitment to providing them with a supportive educational and social environment. He expressed his pleasure at being with them that day, noting that international students are an integral part of the university community and that the university administration is dedicated to removing any obstacles they may face to ensure their academic success and cultural integration.
For his part, Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz indicated that the Education and Student Affairs sector prioritizes international students, in line with the national strategy for higher education and scientific research. He affirmed that these events contribute to strengthening human connections and cultural exchange among students.
The ceremony included distinctive artistic performances that created a special festive atmosphere. A selection of Ramadan songs was presented, along with a traditional Tanoura dance performance, adding a unique touch that brought joy to the students.
