The Tanta University Council, in its sixth session for the academic year 2025/2026, held under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, approved the conferment of the academic title of Professor to the following faculty members: Salah Abdel-Monsef Ibrahim Nagla, Ahmed Rezk Mahmoud El-Khouly, and Mohamed Nasr Mohamed Shaddad from the Faculty of Medicine; Wafaa Anwar Abdel-Latif Hassanein from the Faculty of Science; Bassam Samir Mohamed Barouma from the Faculty of Commerce; Amira Hassan Kamal Saad from the Faculty of Pharmacy; Ahlam Ragab Basyouni Salama and Ahmed Abu Al-Yazid Qotb Habib from the Faculty of Arts; Ahmed Mahmoud Rashad Mahmoud El-Hadidy from the Faculty of Engineering; and Mayada Hamdy Ibrahim Yehia and Sherihan Yehia Mohamed Ahmed Morsi from the Faculty of Physical Education.

   The Council also approved the conferment of the academic title of Associate Professor to the following faculty members: Mahmoud Badi’ Mahmoud Raqi from the Faculty of Science; Essam Mounir Ali Rezk, Tarek Mohamed Afifi Sahsah, Shaimaa Abdel-Moneim Mahmoud Abdel-Wahab, and Marwa Ahmed Mahmoud Abu Gabal from the Faculty of Medicine; Omar Abdel-Met’al El-Saeed Mohrez from the Faculty of Engineering; and Zeinab Gamal Basheer Mostafa Abdel-Moneim from the Faculty of Physical Education.

   Additionally, the Council approved the awarding of 47 diplomas, 87 master’s degrees, and 30 doctoral degrees across various specializations.
