Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University and Chairman of the University Committee for the Selection of Faculty Deans, announced today the final list of applicants for nomination to the position of Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.

   The University President stated that the period for submitting appeals was open from Wednesday, April 1, 2026, until Thursday, April 2, 2026, in accordance with the previously announced timetable. As no appeals were received, the final list of applicants for nomination to the position of Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry includes the following candidates, listed in alphabetical order:

• Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Mohy El-Din Attia Alam El-Din, Professor and Acting Head of the Prosthodontics Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Prof. Sherine Abdel-Mawla Ali Moawad, Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Diagnosis, and Radiology, and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Prof. Abeer Mostafa Abdel-Ghani Darag, Professor and Acting Head of the Endodontics Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed El-Shenawy, Professor in the Endodontics Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Prof. Walid Mohamed Abdel-Meguid El-Shahawy, Professor and Acting Head of the Fixed Prosthodontics Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Prof. Yasser Mohamed El-Metwally El-Mekkaki, Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Diagnosis, and Radiology, and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

   The University President further indicated that, in accordance with the nomination timetable, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, has been designated for conducting personal interviews with the applicants.
