Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, visited today the Catholic Church in Gharbia Governorate to extend his congratulations on the occasion of the Glorious Easter celebrations. He was received by Father Samuel Girgis, Pastor of the Church of Saint Peter and Saint Anne in Tanta; Mr. Fady Adel, representative of Public Relations at the Catholic Church in Gharbia; Sister Rita Saad, Principal of Notre Dame School; Sister Francesca of the Notre Dame Sisters; and a gathering of parishioners from the Church of Saint Peter and Saint Anne in Tanta.

   He expressed his pleasure at being present in the Catholic Church, noting that sharing in the joy of Christian brothers reflects the nature of the Egyptian character, which knows no discrimination. He affirmed that holidays represent an opportunity to renew bonds of affection and cohesion among the people of one nation. He further emphasized that Tanta University, as a beacon of knowledge and learning in the heart of the Delta, is always committed to instilling the values of citizenship and acceptance of others among its students.
