"Renewal of accreditation for all centers affiliated with Tanta University at the national level, specializing in administrative and computer training."
Based on the directives and instructions of Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, and in collaboration with the Central Agency for Organization and Administration in Cairo, for the purpose of renewing the accreditation of all centers affiliated with Tanta University at the national level, specifically those dedicated to administrative and computer training for government employees across the state administrative apparatus, and in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 as well as the sustainable development goals consistently pursued by Tanta University, the accreditation officials from the Central Agency for Organization and Administration in Cairo conducted a visit and inspection of the Center for Engineering Research and Consultations at the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, as well as the Center for International Studies in Distance Education, to renew their accreditation for the fourth consecutive year.
Moreover, the university has five other training centers affiliated with Tanta University that are accredited by the Central Agency for Organization and Administration at the national level.
With the approval and patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Mr. Ahmed Rashad Shalaby, Secretary General of Tanta University, the University’s Training Center Administration, in cooperation with the management of both centers, undertook a comprehensive review of all accreditation procedures. This process included the preparation of accreditation documents, the arrangement of lecture halls and workshops, as well as the provision of training tools and equipment necessary for conducting training activities within the centers. These efforts were aimed at preparing the centers for inclusion among the nationally accredited centers for the fiscal year 2025/2026, in order to implement specialized administrative training programs and computer training programs in each of the aforementioned centers.
In accordance with the completion of the procedures for renewing the accreditation of the two centers at the national level, Mr. Khaled Abdel Aziz Mohamed, Senior Training Researcher (A) at the Central Administration for Policies and Capacity Development Plans of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration in Cairo, and responsible for reviewing all documents related to the accreditation of centers affiliated with Tanta University, conducted a visit to inspect, monitor, and follow up on the centers comprehensively. He also reviewed all laboratories, lecture halls, training workshops, and administrative offices of both centers.
This visit took place on Wednesday, 5/11/2025, to enable him to complete all necessary procedures for renewing the national accreditation of the two centers, and subsequently approve the implementation of all administrative and computer training programs offered by the centers in the coming year.
The meeting was attended by Professor Ahmed Roshdy Shalaby, Secretary-General of the University; Professor Hosni Dweir, Director of the Center for Research and Engineering Consultations at the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University; Dr. Rifaat El-Zayat, Director of the Center for International Studies in Distance Education; Dr. Yasser Ali Abdel Rahman, Director of the University Training Center; and Dr. Asmaa Badawy, Responsible for Center Accreditation at the Training Center.
The meeting was held with the aim of preparing the accreditation of additional centers to serve Tanta University and its various sectors in particular, as well as serving the governmental apparatus and the administrative sector in general, in implementation of the vision of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in light of Egypt Vision 2030.
