This was part of a training program aimed at developing children’s intellectual and creative skills in entrepreneurship, enhancing their financial literacy, and connecting them with the university environment through an integrated educational and practical experience.

The children began their program with an introductory lecture accompanied by a visual presentation on the mission of the Faculty of Business and its role in preparing qualified professionals in the fields of accounting, business administration, economics, statistics, and insurance. The lecture also introduced the faculty’s various academic departments, the nature of study in each department, and the diverse career opportunities available to its graduates. This helped familiarize the children with university fields of study and raise their awareness of disciplines related to economics and business administration.

The activities included a range of interactive workshops and practical activities focusing on developing brainstorming, creative thinking, reverse thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The children were also introduced to the concepts of entrepreneurship, management, financial planning, and basic accounting through educational games and age-appropriate activities, contributing to fostering a culture of innovation and developing their financial thinking.

Prof. Mahmoud Selim affirmed that the Child University Program is one of the most important national initiatives contributing to the development of Egyptian children’s personalities by providing a university environment that encourages learning, discovery, and creativity, while developing scientific thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship skills from an early age.

Prof. Mahmoud Farouk Selim also noted that the activities implemented by the Faculty of Business contribute to promoting financial and economic literacy, raising awareness of entrepreneurship, and enhancing children’s creativity, innovation, and decision-making skills, thereby helping to prepare an aware generation capable of positive thinking and active participation in achieving sustainable development.
