Under the Slogan “Scientist Children for a Better Future” Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University Receives the Children Participating in “A Child’s University”

Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University received today the children participating in the seventh stage of “A Child’s University” held under the slogan “Scientist Children for a Better Future” in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) under patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashor, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Jina Al-Fiqi, ASRT Acting President; and Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President; in attendance of Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, under supervision and in coordination of Prof. Mona Al-Aasar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Sahar Al-Haggar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Abdullah Khedr, Head of Chemistry Department at Faculty of Science and General Coordinator of “A Child’s University” at Tanta University; Prof. Walaa Negm, Coordinator of “A Child’s University” at Faculty of Pharmacy and Manager of the Training Unit at the faculty; and Prof. Sherin Hammad, Head of Analytical Chemistry Department.

     Prof. Mahmoud Selim affirmed that the university is keen on supporting the activities of “A Child’s University” as they help to develop children’s skills of scientific and innovative thinking. Therefore, the university offers simple explanation of scientific and applied theories of all sciences to the children attending at various faculties of the university. In addition, Prof. Selim thanked all personnel of the program at the faculty for their pioneering role in implementation of the activities for the children today.
