Announcement for Final-Year Students to Conduct Literacy Tests at the Comprehensive Developmental Convoys Organized in the Context of the Presidential Initiative Decent Life

Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, announced that final-year students of the university will begin to take part in the comprehensive developmental convoys organized by the university under the umbrella of Decent Life initiative. They will participate in conducting immediate literacy tests as part of the activities of the convoys in the designated villages in cooperation with the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education. He pointed out that students will participate as the sector is keen on helping the university play a greater role in implementation of the national project “Illiteracy-Free Egypt”.

   Moreover, University Vice President added that the students who will attend the convoys must be present at the places of the immediate tests held at each convoy organized by the university in villages and districts of Gharbia governorate. The persons who would like to have literacy certificates will be there in enhancement of the role played by the university to serve community.
