Tanta University Organizes a Developmental Convoy in Zefta District and Another One in Ahl Al-Khair Medical Center in Tanta

Under the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Human Development", Tanta University organizes a developmental convoy in Zefta district and another one in Ahl Al-Khair Medical Center in Tanta

    Tanta University is organizing its comprehensive developmental convoys as part of its community service activities under the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Human Development". In this context, the university organized two convoys today. The first was held in the nursing home at Ahl Al-Khair Medical Center in Tanta. The second was organized in Mit Al-Nor village in Zefta district. The convoys were supervised by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Sahar El-Haggar, Vice Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Loay Al-Ahwal, Acting Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Zeinab Samy, Coordinator of Decent Life Initiative in Gharbia Governorate.

   At the first convoy, 272 citizens were examined in 6 specialized clinics including orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, ENT, dermatology, and geriatrics. At the second convoy, 963 patients were examined in 14 specialized clinics and 64 cases were referred to University Hospitals in cooperation with Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals. In addition, veterinary care services were provided for 545 livestock and poultry in collaboration with Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Gharbia.
