Prof. Mahmoud Selim Inaugurates Employment Activities at the University Center for Career Development
In the presence of deans of faculties of Arts, Engineering, and Business, along with several faculty vice deans, Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, inaugurated the employment activities organized at the University Center for Career Development (UCCD) at Faculty of Engineering. The event was held in collaboration with Raise Right to recruit and train 55 students and graduates from faculties of Arts and Education.
The event was attended by Prof. Mamdouh Al-Masry, Acting Dean of Faculty of Arts; Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Yasser Al-Garaf, Dean of Faculty of Business; Prof. Walaa Nour, Vice Dean of Faculty of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Walid Samir, Vice Dean of Faculty of Education for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Said El-Gohary, Coordinator of the English Language Program at Faculty of Arts; Prof. Ahmed Abu Al-Saadat, Manager of the Career Development Center at Tanta University; and Prof. Mohamed Abu Helal, Employment Officer at Faculty of Engineering. Also in attendance were the Human Resources team from Raise Right, academic staff members, and volunteers from the UCCD.
Prof. Mahmoud Selim attended several job interviews conducted as part of the recruitment process, commending the students' and graduates' readiness for the labor market in terms of both knowledge and skills, which they have acquired through various UCCD activities. He also praised the constructive collaboration with Raise Right, affirming its continuous support for the university’s efforts in enhancing the employability and professional development of its students and graduates.
